New social products every year.Right now we have some big social networking site such Facebook, Twitter , Myspace,etc
This year Google brought Google+.
Its been so many years Google started creating new social site.

2004 - Orkut:. Orkut was launched more than seven years ago to compete with Friendster. It changed the look over time.Launched smiley like button,etc .But still it is in beta.
2006 - Gchat in Gmail- Gchat came into Gmail where user can chat.
2007 - OpenSocial: This was an open-source platform, but it didnt proved much.
2008 - FriendConnect: This was a widget-based approach that allowed webmasters to add a “dash of social” to their sites.But it seems to be decreasing rapidly.
2008 - Lively: It was an attempt to virtual life.But it lasted only six months and ended on December 31, 2008.
May,2009 - Google Wave: It was a social networking site where people can share with real time collaboration . But it was hard to use as well.
August, 2009 – Social Gadgets for iGoogle: Gadgets are added to users’ personalized iGoogle homepages.
February, 2010 - Google Buzz: It was the answer to Digg and it was used as link sharing etc.
October, 2010 - Social Search: This was attempt to give search result from social site but now it is stopped as Google + came.
August, 2010 - Slide: Google bought this social gaming company.
July, 2011 - Google+: It is the integration of Google’s many other recognized properties, not the least of which are Picasa, YouTube and Android. It is a new product from Google.
